This is more of a general linux question, but I just rebooted my machine everything worked nothing failed while booting the kernel except "local" doesn't start and I get no login screen. I can telnet to my box from any machine on my network. The IP masq and firewalling work (I using my alpha as a firewall etc) but I can't login locally.
